In my previous life in leadership, I spent a lot of time telling my team, 'We don’t talk to ourselves like that.' I’d hear them call themselves names or spiral over a mistake, and I realized how often our harshest critic is the one in the mirror.
I wanted this plate to be a physical anchor for that same lesson.
The message is for the person walking past your car, sure—but it’s mostly for you as you walk toward it. It’s a reminder that being kind starts with how you treat yourself during the morning coffee, the school run, or the drive home. My hope is that it gives you a small moment of intention every time you see it.
