Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Dani — the maker behind Dani Denise Design.

I work from a small studio focused on creating thoughtful objects for everyday life—pieces designed to be used, lived with, and appreciated over time. I work primarily with wood and leather - materials that age beautifully with use.

My work blends handcrafted, small-batch making with carefully designed everyday goods, guided by a belief that the things we use daily should feel intentional without being precious. Natural materials, quiet design, and functional beauty are at the center of everything made here.

Based in Southern Indiana, where exceptional hardwoods are part of the landscape, I draw inspiration from the materials themselves, as well as the place and process behind what I make. Some pieces are made entirely by hand in small batches or as one-of-a-kind work, while others are designed to bring that same sense of care and warmth into everyday objects.

Dani Denise Design exists to create pieces that feel calm, useful, and quietly meaningful—simple objects made well, meant to be part of real life.
