I make these glasses pouches from rescued quilts and quilted pillow shams, using the pieces that are still too good to leave behind. Each one is cut individually, so the stitching, pattern placement, wear, and character will be a little different.
The quilted fabric gives your glasses a soft layer of protection when you toss them in your purse or tote, and the leather tab and snap help keep them from sliding out. They’re sized for reading glasses, eyeglasses, or sunglasses without adding a bulky hard case to your bag.
Keep one in your purse, beside the bed, or in the car—wherever you’re usually looking for your glasses. Each one is different because I’m working with the fabric exactly as I found it.

These pouches began as part of textiles that had already lived a life before arriving in the studio. Rather than letting the usable fabric go to waste, I carefully cut around worn areas and gave the remaining material a new purpose.
Small variations, faded areas, original stitching, and signs of age are part of the story—not flaws.
