About This Piece

Honey started as a pretty golden floral placemat that still had plenty of life in it. Those sunny blooms were too lovely to put away.

I gave the rescued textile a new purpose as a quilted zipper pouch for the small things you want to keep together. I left the inside unlined so the original material's character is still part of her story.

I hope she brings a bit of sunshine whenever you reach for her.
