Handcrafted Nesting Charcuterie Board Set – Spalted Sycamore

Two solid hardwood boards, cut from a single slab of spalted sycamore and shaped to nest as one continuous form.

Spalting occurs naturally within the wood, creating dark linework and tonal variation that cannot be replicated. Each set carries its own character — no two will ever be alike.

Sourced from Southern Indiana hardwood and finished by hand in my shop, these boards are designed to live on the counter, not in a cabinet. Use them together for serving, or separately for everyday preparation and presentation.

Each piece is hand cut, hand sanded, and finished with food-safe mineral oil to highlight the depth and movement of the grain.

Maker’s Note

This set was cut from a single board of spalted sycamore, allowing the natural grain to guide the final shape.

The larger board measures approximately 18.5 inches in height and 6.5 inches at its widest point.
The smaller board measures approximately 15.5 inches in height and 7.5 inches at its widest point.

Because of the organic shape and natural spalting, measurements are approximate.
